Terms & Conditions

Making Payment We accept all major credit and debit cards and all transactions will be charged in UK pounds. If you are shopping from outside the UK your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. You may make payment on-line, by telephone or by post.

Delivery We aim to dispatch orders within two working days of receipt of the order, subject to clearance of payment. Please allow up to seven days for delivery within the UK and 21 days for non-UK addresses.

Returns and Cancellation You can cancel your order at any time before dispatch.

If something you purchased is faulty, we will automatically offer you a replacement or a refund and if you have incurred costs in returning it to us, we will refund those costs.

We will happily offer a credit note, exchange, or refund on any goods you may wish to return after a change of mind; however, they must be returned to us unworn/unwashed and in the brand spanking new state they were sold in. You must notify us of your decision to return the goods no later than 30 days after the day on which you received them. The goods must then be returned to us within 14 days of notification. A refund, including our standard cost of delivery to you, will be processed within 7 days of receipt of the goods. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning goods.

We cannot accept returns for made to measure goods unless they are deemed to be faulty.

If you wish to return anything to us, please include your sales receipt.

It is advisable to request a proof of post receipt for the item you are returning, it may be required if your parcel is lost in the mail. Our returns address is Skye Batiks, Portree, Isle of Skye IV51 9BY

You also have the right to cancel the order, without reason, within 14 days of the receipt of the order, starting the day following delivery, providing that the goods are returned to us, at your cost, in perfect, resaleable condition. You then have 14 days in which to return the order.

All Guga Handlooms are hand-made, by us, in the Isle of Skye. Each fabric consists of patterns which repeat themselves. The length of this repeat very rarely corresponds exactly to the width of our garments. Consequently, your order may vary slightly from the item you see on our web site. This is not unusual. Don’t worry, it will be the same style and the same fabric, but your garment will have qualities that are unique to it alone. Try to think of that as a good thing. We are happy to leave slavish uniformity to others.
